Engineering a fully customized solution together. From your requirements to operational reality. Not standard, but exactly what you need.
What does co-engineering entail?
- Collaboration between your team and KLINGER’s engineers
- Thorough analysis of your specific process challenges
- Design: idea → sketch → prototype → final design
- You determine priorities (costs, performance, timing)
- Everything tailor-made to your situation
- Full documentation
The co-engineering process is as follows
1. Intake & analysis
We listen: what is the real problem? What are your constraints (budget, space, timing)? What quality is required? What are the risks?
2. Conceptualization
We brainstorm multiple approaches and present possibilities. You choose the direction based on trade-offs (price vs. performance, simplicity vs. sophistication).
3. Detailed design
The winning concept is developed in detail: engineering calculations, 3D models, component selection, and a test plan with regular reviews.
4. Prototype & validation
We build a prototype/demo unit. Testing in real conditions. Feedback → iteration. This reduces risks for the final design.
5. Scaling & production
The validated design goes into production. You receive full documentation, sources, and knowledge transfer. KLINGER assists with the startup if necessary.
Proven in practice
KLINGER, together with Biostoom, is the driving force behind sustainable glass recycling in Beringen: a circular milestone for Limburg.
