The limits of the tool
The Material Finder calculates based on what you enter. A real installation is rarely so neat: media are mixtures, temperatures fluctuate, cleaning cycles sometimes stress the gasket more heavily than the process itself, and the flange it must fit has its own history.
For standard applications, the tool goes a long way. If you are dealing with a mixture that is not listed, with varying operating conditions, or with a connection that has leaked before, please submit it to us. We will then look at it together.
