Custom insulation jackets

Stopping heat loss where insulation is missing

Maximum energy efficiency with ultimate protection

In almost every installation, the pipes are neatly insulated. Then, the insulation stops abruptly at the first valve, flange, or heat exchanger โ€” exactly where maintenance needs to be possible.

These interruptions are few in number but significant in effect. A removable insulation jacket closes them without requiring you to break through them during the next intervention.

One valve carries more weight than you think

A non-insulated valve loses as much energy as approximately 2.5 meters of bare piping. An unjacketed flange connection is equivalent to about 1 meter.

Count how many valves and flanges are in your steam or thermal oil circuit. In an average installation, this quickly adds up to dozens of meters of invisible loss โ€” loss that continues every operating hour, year after year, while the adjacent pipe is perfectly insulated.

It is the kind of waste that never ends up on a failure report because nothing actually breaks.

Why being removable makes the difference

Fixed insulation around a valve is technically possible, but it is torn down during the first intervention and rarely repaired. Consequently, the insulation disappears after one maintenance service and never returns.

An insulation jacket is secured with Velcro and stainless steel tensioning systems. It can be removed in minutes and replaced just as quickly after the intervention by your own technician, without tools or an insulation specialist.

This is why this solution remains in place in practice, whereas poured insulation material does not.

What you can expect

Reduced heat loss

Up to 90% less heat loss on the covered component, with a corresponding decrease in associated energy costs.

Payback period of 6 to 12 months

Depending on temperature, operating hours, and energy prices.

Fully customized

Shape, dimensions, and temperature resistance are determined by the component and the application, not by a standard size.

Resistant to conditions

Fire, water, and high temperatures up to 1,200 ยฐC for the heavy-duty versions.

Built to stay in place

Hand-stitched reinforcements on stressed seams for tear resistance during repeated removal and installation.

Safer around the installation

A jacketed valve no longer poses a contact hazard for those working nearby.

Where they provide the most value

Insulation jackets offer the fastest return on components that are hot, frequently accessed for maintenance, and run for many operating hours:

  • Valves and control valves in steam and condensate circuits
  • Flange connections on hot piping
  • Steam traps and manifolds
  • Heat exchangers, pumps, and expansion joints
  • Components for thermal oil or hot air

What are the benefits for your installation?

We map out your non-insulated components and calculate the payback period based on your specific operating hours and energy prices.
