Hoses & couplings

Industrial hoses form the flexible connection in your installation: they transport air, water, steam, chemicals, gases, and oils, often under high pressure or temperature. The wrong hose choice leads to leakage, production downtime, and safety risks for your employees and the environment.
KLINGER Belgium supplies an extensive and complete range of high-quality industrial hoses: from rubber and plastic hoses to metal and PTFE hoses. All hoses come with various European certificates. Furthermore, we assemble and test complete hose assemblies in our own workshop, fully according to your specifications.

Industrial couplings
Couplings in various systems and materials to connect hoses to each other or to the installation quickly, safely, and leak-tight.
Overview of industrial hoses
Every application requires a different hose material. Medium, pressure, temperature, and certification requirements together determine the right choice. KLINGER Belgium offers various material groups, each with a wide range of versions.
1. Rubber hoses
Rubber hoses are the most versatile industrial hoses used for a wide variety of media. Our range includes various versions from renowned European manufacturers:
- Air hoses and discharge hoses for compressed air
- Water hoses for cold, warm, and hot water
- Steam hoses for saturated steam
- Chemical hoses for aggressive media
- Oil hoses for oil and petroleum products / LPG delivery
- Gas and welding hoses & nitrogen hoses
- Food-grade hoses compliant with EC1935/2004 and FDA
- Abrasion-resistant hoses
2. Plastic hoses
A wide range of plastic hoses for applications in heavy industry, the chemical industry, and the food industry, including extraction hoses, suction-discharge hoses, and universal hoses.
These hoses are supplied in many versions: with PVC or steel helix, with UV protection, electrically conductive, or compliant with EC1935/2004 for food contact.
3. Metal hoses
Metal hoses are constructed from a stainless steel strip and are the benchmark for heavy industrial applications with high pressures and extreme temperatures or aggressive media.
They are available as parallel or annular corrugated hoses, with one to three stainless steel braids depending on the required working pressure. Our metal hose assemblies are welded by certified welders, ensuring a safe and durable connection.
4. PTFE hoses
PTFE hoses are versatile and high-quality smooth or corrugated hoses, equipped with, for example, a stainless steel or plastic braid. Their properties make them ideal for critical applications:
- excellent chemical resistance
- non-flammable
- low coefficient of friction
- non-stick (anti-stick)
- food-grade quality according to EC1935/2004
Hoses for every application
Within these material groups, we supply industrial hoses for almost every medium and application:
- Air hoses: for compressed air and pneumatic applications in workshops and production
- Water hoses: for cooling water, process water, cleaning, and suction-discharge applications
- Steam hoses: for saturated and superheated steam
- Chemical hoses: chemically resistant hoses for aggressive acids, alkalis, and solvents
- Gas hoses: for technical gases, nitrogen, and welding gases
- Oil hoses: oil and grease-resistant hoses for fuels and lubricants
- High-pressure hoses: for applications where high working pressures are the norm
- Extraction hoses: for the extraction of fumes, dust, and air
- Dairy and food-grade hoses: hygienic hoses compliant with current food standards
- Abrasion-resistant hoses

Assembly of complete hoses in our own workshop
A hose is only as reliable as its coupling. With our expertise and an arsenal of advanced machinery, we assemble hoses and couplings with optimal functionality, according to your desired specifications, in all diameters and lengths.
Furthermore, the assembly can be carefully tested and certified according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The advantage of in-house assembly? You can be sure it is done right. This is available upon request.
This helps you avoid:
- risk of exposure to chemical liquids
- higher costs due to leakage
- environmental damage
- production process downtime

Frequently asked questions about industrial hoses
1. Which industrial hose should I choose for my application?
The right hose choice depends on the medium, working pressure, temperature, and any certification requirements. Rubber hoses are versatile, plastic hoses offer a light and economical alternative, metal hoses withstand extreme conditions, and PTFE hoses offer maximum chemical resistance. Our specialists are happy to help you with the selection.
2. What is the difference between industrial hoses and hydraulic hoses?
Industrial hoses are intended for the transport of media such as water, air, steam, chemicals, gases, and food products, usually at low to medium pressure and with a large internal diameter for a high flow rate.
Hydraulic hoses on the other hand are designed to transmit power in hydraulic systems: they operate at very high pressure, have a smaller internal diameter, and feature steel reinforcements to withstand that pressure.
The choice therefore depends mainly on the function: transporting a medium versus transmitting power.
3. Which hose is chemically resistant?
For aggressive media, PTFE hoses are generally the most resistant choice: PTFE is chemically almost inert and resistant to an exceptionally wide range of acids, alkalis, and solvents.
Rubber chemical hoses and certain plastic hoses also offer good resistance, depending on the chosen material. However, the right choice always depends on the specific medium, concentration, pressure, and temperature.
