A control valve doses what passes through your pipeline: steam, water, or another medium, in the quantity your process requires at that moment. It receives its signal from the control system and converts it into a position, hundreds of times a day.

As a result, it helps determine how stably your process runs. A valve that is sized too large will oscillate and wear out faster. A valve that is too small will not meet your capacity during peak moments.
