Heat exchangers
Heat exchangers
A heat exchanger transfers heat from your steam network to water without the two media touching. It sounds simple, but the efficiency lies in the details: how the control system works, what happens to the condensate, and how stable the outlet temperature remains when demand fluctuates.
In a vertical design, you control the capacity via the condensate level in the exchanger. This allows you to fully utilize the latent heat of the steam and further cool the condensate before sending it back. That extra cooling represents energy that would otherwise be lost.
The design you require depends on your temperature range, flow rate, and the way your installation is controlled. We would be pleased to calculate the optimal solution for you.
