One machine, three tasks: screening, thickening, or dewatering. The LST separates solids and liquids using slow-rotating oval discs on a common shaft.
How it works
The sludge or effluent is distributed over a series of slow-rotating oval discs. Their synchronized movement creates a wave effect that performs three actions simultaneously: transporting the solids, allowing the liquid to drain, and cleaning the filter surface.
The solids remain on the discs and are transported to the discharge zone. The liquid passes between the discs and is collected as filtrate.
During thickening and dewatering, the solids are compressed along the way. A pneumatic pressure system at the discharge side provides additional compression, further increasing the dry matter content.

Design
Stainless steel AISI 304 or 316, optionally with a flocculation tank in the same material and an electrical control panel for the sludge feed and dosing pumps.
