Inside Sales

What will you do?

As Inside Sales, you are the commercial and technical point of contact for our customers from the office. You form the bridge between customers, suppliers, and the sales and support team. You report to the Internal Sales Manager.

• In consultation with the Internal Sales Manager, you will build thorough knowledge of one or more specific product groups and continuously keep that knowledge and your market insight up to date.
• You analyze price requests and prepare quotes, where necessary in consultation with the Internal Sales Manager or the technical department.
• You negotiate prices by phone and email within established margins, always coordinating with Outside Sales colleagues.
• You maintain contact with customers and suppliers, answer questions based on your own expertise and that of your colleagues, and follow up on assigned contracts.
• Occasionally, you will also visit customers yourself, so that you get to know your customers and their needs on-site.
• You inform and advise the Outside Sales department, ensure correct input of prices into the system, and support Order Handling and the warehouse with questions about quotes and products.
• You communicate proactively, step in when colleagues are busy, and contribute ideas to optimize processes.

Who are you?

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a technical field, or are equivalent through relevant work experience.
• You have a strong interest in the industrial sector and technical products.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is a plus.
• You work fluently with MS Office; knowledge of Business Central is an asset.
• You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and possess commercial flair and a customer-oriented attitude.
• You work in an organized, analytical manner with an eye for detail.
• You think in a solution-oriented way, have a critical mind, and like to take initiative.
• You are flexible, with a positive and committed mindset.
